Fall Weekends

I have come to love fall so much, from football games, to hunting, to how beautiful it is outside there really are few things I don't like about it! So here's a little update of what this fall season has looked like so far...
Kane Wolves!

Football, football, and more football!

Rob's youngest brother has had an extremely successful season and they're heading on to the D9 Championships! Since Loren is a senior this is definitely an extremely exciting time!
the family

It's also nice when family can come to visit and watch games too! (it's personally the reason why I love football :) Rob, Grandpa Kumher, Loren, Bruce, Mitch, and Tammie...they're some of my favorite people :)

And once again more football!

I was so excited to be able to go watch PSU play OSU and visit my sister that's a freshman at Penn State.  Going months on months without seeing her has been tough, but I'm so proud of her and the time spent together was awesome! My cousin, Nick, went with me to the game so we had a great time catching up and watching some good football!

Hunting...

Rob is definitely one of the most avid hunters I know, I mean he really takes this seriously.  So when he asked me to accompany him this past weekend I was pleasantly surprised! I love how happy we are in this picture, but what you can't see is how big Rob's clothes were on me! The pants were all the way up to my armpits haha! Although he didn't get a deer we still had a great time and I'm so glad he asked me to go along with him :)

This is my now...

As this year moves steadily to a closer it's easy to reflect on the vast amounts of change that has happened over the last few months.  Not only have I made some major life decisions but I've also learned a lot about myself.

I've moved from Lancaster Bible College to Edinboro University, although the switch was necessary it was definitely not the easiest decision I have ever made.  Leaving behind such an amazing group of friends and being hours apart from my amazing boyfriend have been quite the challenge.  There were so many times I had convinced myself that I can't go on, that this wasn't worth it, but after finding a quote by Gabrielle Blair (which this blog is named after) I've decided that instead of looking at the negatives I am going to "Embrace the current season of my life."

What is your current season? And are you embracing it or rejecting it?
